Schnaidman is set to lead Jafra on an expansion path.
Jafra Cosmetics International, Inc. has welcomed Mauro Schnaidman as the company’s new president and chief executive officer. Schnaidman, who also serves as the newest member on the Jafra management board, is described as a seasoned Brazilian global executive, whose diverse experience has spanned various industries and continents, including time spent at Pepsi, Unilever, Revlon and AOL. Most recently, he was president of Sara Lee Coffee and Tea Southern Europe. In 2004, the privately held Jafra joined the Vorwerk Group, a German-based, multi-billion dollar international direct sales company, represented in over 60 countries worldwide. Jafra’s 550,000 worldwide Independent Consultants make it one of the world’s largest producers of cosmetics today, with annual sales in excess of half a billion dollars. The company’s products are manufactured in a new $30 million manufacturing facility in Queretaro, Mexico.
